BMC Truck Accessories was founded in 1972 known simply as Bumper Manufacturing Company. The company specialized in the production of custom Steel OEM rear bumpers. The bumpers of that era where customized for individual dealerships to develop brand recognition when trucks were sold.
The core of B MC’s business changed as the auto manufactures moved away from the solid steel type bumpers to today’s trend of chrome rear bumpers. This change led to the evolution of the company and its product lines as they expanded to sell accessories for an entire truck. This process became so successful that BMC Truck Accessories began to distribute truck accessories to other retailers as a multiline warehouse distribution company.
Today, BMC Truck Accessories distributes over 70 product categories from leading accessory manufactures such as B&W Trailer Hitches, DeeZee, Fill-Rite, RKI, Weather Guard, and Westin Automotive.
